The Boarding Kennel for the discriminating Pet Owner
This very nice Kennel is located in a pretty Country
setting just 10 min south of Kemptville, 4 km west of Hyw 416.
About 20-40 min. south of Ottawa, Ontario (30 min from the
Hunt Club Bridge)
We take care of dogs and cats during their owners travels, providing
a second home for your pet.
Each of our visitors receives special attention
and care.
We provide centrally air-conditioned / heated Kennels.
The kennel is kept very clean. Nutrition is provided as per owners
instructions. Each
canine guest will have
its own indoor run with access to its own private outdoor play area. Beds and
bedding are provided and washed as often as required, usually daily. You are welcome to
bring toys or other comfort items for your pet. This Kennel is well
equipped to keep pets for long term boarding ranging from over night to
many month. Pets go home in excellent physical and mental condition and
are being happy to visit again, making us a "second" home for your pet.
Feline guest are comfortable in a separate room with
several large picture windows. The room is very sunny and comfortable.
Each cat will be in its own private and
several level feline apartment, daily cleaned litter boxes at the lower
level and well separated from sleeping and feeding area. We specialize in
long term cat boarding especially for people who travel for
many weeks or month.
Each pet receives personal attention and care.
Many clients consider us their home away from home
and for most pets it becomes a second home.

Daily Walks :
The kennels are large and the dogs will
self exercise and remain in good physical and mental conditions . Some very
active dogs actually need to be encouraged to rest, since the kennel
stimulates high levels of activity in a dog .
If you desire to have your pet individual walked please
budged $ 5.00 for a 15 minute lead walk on our very pretty country road

| Directions: From Ottawa...Hwy 416 south
to exit 24 (Oxford Station Rd)
turn right (west) onto Oxford
Station Rd , drive 4 KM ,
past the Restaurant over the rail road
tracks when you see Doug's Auto body on your left then
Maple Hill Rd will come up on your left.
Drive on Maple Hill Rd for 1 km, Maple Hill Kennel on your right.
There will be signs to the Kennel
Driving time from Ottawa : approximately 1/2 hour from the
Hunt Club bridge, from Kemptville (416/ 43) about 10 min.
from the 401.... drive North on HWY 416 to Exit 24, turn
of the Hwy then left on Oxford Station Rd.... see above.

Please respect our hours:
as they are designed to keep your pet(s)
happy and relaxed. Operating a good Kennel can be difficult as even
so we seem closed we still look after your pets. We are a owner
operated kennel where the pet(s) are cared for by the owner and one
long-term assistant. In order to be open all the time we would have
to hire minimum wage staff, staff that will change all the time and
your pet would never know when somebody might come to pick
them up or who is looking after them keeping the pet under constant
suspense and stress. Staff who might not have the experience to
recognize if your Pet is ill or under stress. Pick up's out of hours
disturbs the routine the dogs and upset the dogs left in the
kennel after you leave. Many of our long term clients frequent
this Kennel because of the hours. They know their Pet is happy
and comes home relaxed and well. The hours have worked well for 13
years now, pleasing many clients.

Kennel Is committed to provide good care for your pet and
we cater to the owners who understand that a routine makes the stay
of your pet a comfortable and happy one. It works well for the pets
as they LOVE it here and many times drag their owners into the
kennel, and that makes me happy.
